Local notes
Fountain is south of the city, between the interstate and Fort Carson. We work in the driveway, including the streets east of Old Town and the Mesa Ridge side.
Roads
I-25, Santa Fe Avenue, Mesa Ridge Parkway, and Link Road. A lot of the evening drive is north toward the city with the sun already down.
Climate
The elevation is a little lower than downtown Colorado Springs, and the UV is still high. Wind and dust off the plains haze a lens, and winter air along the creek makes a dull headlight worse.
